Cantab’s summer internship offers a great introduction to financial planning and investment management, along with the possibility of  securing a permanent position at the firm.

 

The Role

The role is a two-week unpaid internship based in the company’s Cambridge office and involves working in both financial planning and investment management across advisory and discretionary services. Tasks may include drafting correspondence and reports, monitoring portfolios and assisting with research into current and potential investments.

The Summer Internship is aimed at students who have completed further education and are in their penultimate year of University. However, we welcome applications from other students as well. Any subject discipline will be considered, but all applicants will have to take mathematics and general financial knowledge tests at interview. In addition, you will need to have a proven ability to work in a team and to produce diligent, error-free work. A professional attitude in the office and when meeting clients is essential.

You may be interested in a long-term position with Cantab. The internship will provide you with the opportunity to see if your attitude, ambition, and ability are a good match with those of the firm. A successful intern may be offered a position on the graduate scheme.
