Citywire’s New Model Adviser team recognised Cantab Asset Management (CAM) as one of the Top 100 Advisers for 2014.

Citywire publishes news and professional commentary on the asset management industry. With the radically changing rules and regulations applied to the industry, New Model Adviser has recognised the distinguished firms and people that have embraced change to provide excellent results and dedication to clients.

CAM provides both Financial Planning and Wealth Management services. CAM’s turnover has increased by 60% over the past year and the funds under advisory and discretionary management have doubled to £200m. David Saunderson and Jeremy Davis, both CAM directors, spoke at the Ironmongers’ Hall autumn seminars on the importance of ‘Independence’ in choosing a wealth manager. Jeremy Davis stated that, in his opinion, partners in the major professional firms would be best served by the high quality advisers in independent firms who are able to advise on the whole market and, in addition, provide unbiased recommendations and implementation across the whole market.

Jeremy Davis has a PhD in Genetics and Plant Breeding and has conducted global research. He has been a financial adviser since 2000 and previously was Managing Director of 35 Finance, an antecedent to Cantab Asset Management.

David Saunderson was the Principal of Saunderson House for twenty four years, is a Chartered Accountant and trained at Price Waterhouse and has been advising clients for more than twenty five years.
